Two special events will take place this weekend to celebrate St George's Day and Gallipoli where the Lancashire Fusiliers famously won '6VC's before breakfast.
A special church service and parade will first take place in Morpeth on Saturday 22nd April to celebrate St George's Day and our freedom of Northumberland. The parade will also mark the 55thanniversary of the regiment which was formed on St George’s Day in 1968.
On Sunday 23rd there will then be a special church service and parade in Bury Town Centre to remember the fallen Lancashire Fusiliers at Gallipoli in 1915.
Both events are popular gatherings in the Fusilier events programme and are expected to be well attended by the wider Fusilier family. Photographs of both events to follow.
